Movie Rumors: Ra’s al Ghul to appear again in The Dark Knight Rises

Ra’s al Ghul, the legendary Batman villain, made his first appearance on the big screen in Chris Nolan’sBatman Begins. There have been rumors swirling that he character, played by Liam Neeson, would be returning to Chris Nolan’s third Batman movie, and in an interview with Showbizspy, the actor commented on his possible return.
“I can tell you nothing about Dark Knight Rises, seriously,” Neeson told ShowbizSpy. “I was on set for maybe an hour-and-a-half and the director didn’t tell me anything of what it’s about. So, I’m being very honest when I say I have no idea what’s going to happen.”
So there you have it, Liam Neeson was on set, he filmed something, and he has no idea what is going to happen. There is the chance that the footage they filmed may not even appear in the film. But we will have to see when The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters on July 23, 2012.
