The Robot That Can Climb Up Your Pants
I guess we just want to keep building these things even though we know they will kill us all someday.
Here is one that could just climb up your pants and slit your throat.
I am not sure what the purpose of this type of robot would be. Maybe it could follow you around and then zip you up in case your forget?

Because a robot that messes up your clothes isn’t as useful as a robot that irons them, ieee Spectrum asked the researchers what Clothbot could be used for. They said that Clothbot’s mechanism could one day be used to make small robotic pets or movable phones that can perch on your shoulder or other parts of your body. Both of those sound extremely exciting compared to its third possible application: body inspection.
