Ed Helms in Talks for ‘Vacation’ Reboot
Because Hollywood thinks that every movie that was ever made needs a reboot…Vacation was added to the list.
Are they really out of ideas? It’s not even worth commenting on. I guess we will just keep going to see recycled movies over and over again.
To be technical this one is being called a reboot/sequel. I don’t know what that means.
Ed Helms in Talks for ‘Vacation’
A few months back, we got word that Ed Helms was being eyed for John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein‘s Vacation reboot/sequel. But Helms shot down the casting soon afterward, saying that he’d heard “nothing” about it and that he had “no idea” where the press had gotten that impression.
Variety writes that Helms is currently in negotiations for the role, and that if he closes the deal, the film will shoot in spring after Helms wraps the third Hangover movie and the upcoming ninth season of The Office. In the meantime, New Line will work on revising the script, by Daley and Goldstein, in order to trim the budget.
