Coming Soon to Facebook: Ads in your news feed

It’s amazing how out of touch a company like Facebook can be considering everyone and I mean EVERYONE uses it. When they changed to the “timeline” look and everyone complained all at the same time were they not listening? The Ads that are now on the side panel are not horrible. They might be a necessary evil to allow the site to remain free but this is taking it to a whole new level.

Facebook is now inserting ads into your news feed, whether or not you’re a fan of the product.

A Facebook spokesperson told Tech Crunch that they are taking user concerns’ into consideration.

We want to be thoughtful about how we introduce ads in news feed, so we have limits in place to ensure that people’s news feeds are not filled with advertising.

No word on what those limits are exactly, but no, you can’t opt out of this exciting new feature.
