Because it was such a good idea the first time: Godzilla Remake Release Date Set For 2014
Now that special effect in movies have hit a level that we can make anything that sound unrealistic…realistic we keep trying to see what the impossble would look like.
There has been some success with this theory in movies like The Dark Knight. Not so much wiht the special effects in that example but the idea of seeing how something would work and making it seem like “ya I guess that is how is would happen in real life”
Well that is the idea behind the remake of the Godzilla remake. How would it be if it really happened.

TheFilmStage posted the update today, stating that the studio has set the release date for the new take on Godzilla for May 16, 2014. The film is written by David Callaham, David S. Goyer and Max Borensetein, and while the studio has plans for a 3D presentation, there’s no word on whether or not it will actually be shot in 3D.
Based on the Comic Con report, it sounds like Edwards is taking a really serious approach to the story, raising the question “If this really happened, what would it be like” and promising a grounded, realistic film that’s not especially sci-fi. Given the giant city-crushing monster involved, it’ll be interesting to see how this plan is executed.
Let’s just hope they don’t mix two artist that just don’t mix again for the sound track. Who can forget this mess…
Ok fine, I did like this when it came out. PUFF DADDY!!!!
The only thing that drove me nuts about this song when it was released was all the dummies that though Puff Daddy was the musical genius behind that guitar riff.
