Huge Surprise! News Anchor Asks A Dumb Question (Video)

So by now you have heard the news of the Asteroid giving us a close fly by this week. How close? About 17,000 miles. On a global scale that is pretty damn close. We are in no danger of being hit. Even if we were the asteroid (2012 DA14) is only about the size of half a football field.

That’s not what we are here to talk about. I already covered that.

Back to the dumb question. You ready for it? (Video below)

“What’s coming our way? Is this the effect of, perhaps, global warming? Or is this just some meteoric occasion?”

She wanted to know if global warming possibly had something to do with the close call we are about to receive.

Yep…. I don’t even want to know what she makes a year to be a news anchor. I am guessing it’s more then a few hundred a month.

Bill Nye who was the questioner managed not to just call her a dumb ass. Popsci.com has the story:

A huge storm lashed the Northeast this weekend, which meant we got to see news anchors talk about global warming for half a news cycle. (Yay.) But that also led to an awkward moment when CNN anchor Deb Feyerick tried to segue into talking about a near-Earth asteroid that’s expected to fly relatively close to Earth later this week by asking: “What’s coming our way?
